In the event of a Cancellation Dovey Valley Shooting Ground Ltd will honour a Credit Voucher for any deposit/monies paid in advanced to reschedule (when more than 48 hours notice is given), in the instance of 48 hours or less notice is given Dovey Valley Shooting Ground Ltd then reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100%

We offer a shooting school of dedicated instructors, incorporating some of the most experienced game shots as well as world-class Olympic clay shots. These packages are a step up from the ‘Have a Go’ packages, they are more in-depth instruction and can be enjoyed either as a total novice or looking at improving your shooting.

Simulated Shooting Day
For Shotgun Certificate holders and experienced shots in groups of 8 or more.
Single peg days are available by contacting us or visiting guns on pegs.
We have the privilege of exclusive rights to the Brynmelin Estate for our simulated days. This is a very full and intense fun day for the competent, experienced shot. The day is ran exactly like a game shooting day, consisting of a number of drives in the picturesque welsh mountains – one of which a few thousand feet high. With, up to, teams of 12 shooting at any one time; with a minimum of 8 guns for the day.
Guests can expect to see several thousand clays flush over them during the course of the day. An individual would expect to shoot 500+ cartridges. Head, eye & ear protection is strongly recommended, along with a glove or sleeve. A typical day consists of 4+ drives from grouse birds to high driven birds.
Typical Gold Day Itinerary:
09.00am – Arrival for bacon baps.
10:00am – Introduction & safety briefing.
10.15am – Leave for the first drive of the morning session. (2 drives)
11.30pm – Elevenses – Fizz and Canapé’s will be served mid-morning at a view point.
12.00pm – Drive 3 normally the Grouse drive.
12.30pm – Lunch is served either in the field or at the cabin (weather permitting).
12.30pm – Afternoon drives continue (2 drives) and tea and cakes is served at the cabin to finish the day.
Depart at your leisure.
